SageWind Farmstead
Hello! We are the Thompsons and we are the proud owners of SageWind Farmstead located in beautiful rural Benson, IL!
We took a leap and bought a fixer upper farm property toward the end of 2023. We painted her green, named her SageWind and have been building the farm from the ground up ever since.
We've accumulated an assorted flock of free range laying hens that give us a gorgeous rainbow assortment of eggs and a trio of beloved IPP breeder pigs that are the heart of our Farmstead!
We believe in community, and have big hopes and aspirations of feeding our neighbors and loved ones well and providing you with a sustainable and delicious source of nutrition you and your family can feel good about supporting.
