Saratoga Homestead

Saratoga Homestead is a family operated farmstead, owned by Bob and Bethany Salisbury since 2014. The farm focuses on ethically raising small livestock, pastured eggs, and cultivating heirloom produce, emphasizing sustainable practices and local sourcing. Their mission is to provide nutrient-dense, naturally raised food with minimal food mileage, benefiting both their family and the local community.

In the spring of 2024, they expanded their operations to sell to the public market, focusing on small livestock and heirloom produce. They emphasize sustainable practices, including species appropriate diets, fresh air, sunshine, fresh fodder, home-baled hay, fresh produce, cognitive enrichment, and locally sourced feed ingredients. Their grain mixes are milled locally using products from nearby farmers, ensuring fresh and nutrient dense feed. They also feed spent produce from their own market gardens. Looking ahead, they plan to expand their facilities to focus more on their niche market and broaden their gardens to offer a wider variety of produce.
